22 Faced Smile

SidGabriel — Sun, 01/30/2011 - 02:16

If you are a socially liberated, omni-modal artist, technologist and
vocal suporter of an awesome future for humankind and you are making a
photo essay of the cultural effect of Warhol, Wozniak and Lady Gaga
upon your self exploration, discovery and expression, you would
probably be about to post something really odd on Facebook. And If you
did post 22 photos of yourself slightly different in pose and
dramatically different in color, and The Face Book responded with a 22
faced question posed in 7 columns of three cropped faces, all
different yet all, down to the 22nd image sitting alone in the last
row have the awkward question: "Who's This?" in the form of the broken
smile of the social media monster complete with pushy "Friends can
always untag themselves" devil-on-shoulder-disclaimer, in the first
paragraph, would you think hat this is technique? Is this perfect
image of the gap between people and Facebook?

*and* Is this my art or Facebooks?
