What is the best method for distributed computing on OS10.5.6? Cloud
and Grid Computing are really noisy searches right now. There's so
much marketing and service information that the open tools are
obfuscated. I'm having trouble confidently choosing which platform to
risk loosing hours in my lab with. Research says use xgrid, but will
it help for video rendering?

I made a graphic that describes the problem I'm trying to solve. You
know that old saying: "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day,
teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime"? A human
recommendation would be appreciated beyond measure.
